Car History First race Mustang in NZ 1965. Raced and owned by Hamiltonian Ivan Segedin 65/67. Sponsored by Fleetwood Motors. Owned and raced by Red Dawson 67/68.
Driver History Segedin/Dawson, 86 races on all NZ circuits with many wins and podium finishes. Car retired  in 1968.  Bought and cared for by Glen Larson in the 1980s and went to Te Puke Autobarn Museum for many years. Purchased by Aucklander Neil Tolich in 2003 and stripped and rebuilt to FIA Appendix K period racing specification and now has an internationally recognised  FIA Historical Technical Passport (HTP). The car has spent 2009 racing in the UK Top Hat series with class placings at Snetterton, Brand Hatch and Donington. The last race of 2009 will be at the Spa 6 Hour Classic with Neil and Kiwi mate David Fitzsimons behind the wheel, before returning to NZ at the end of the year.
